Hi, I’m new in wearing hearing aids and the audiologist struggles a little bit. It’s hard to tell her, how I hear or how it’s sound. I tried 3 HA and the opticon seams to be the best one for my ears. Phoniak are too robotic and Signia fails with the 360° Sound. The switching between the directions make me creazy ;-). So I got a opticon Real 1 mini R. Sounds 1A.
For a short time I was a sound engineer for a lot of live events. But the hearing loss prevented me to continue this job.
Long story short. I would like to try “selffitting” my oticon real 1. So could someone please send me the link of genie 2? In the best case the last version 2024 multilanguage
thx a lot
Werner
Welcome to the forum, sure it’s available, but you’ll also need the Noahlink wireless programming device for any DIY projects, do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I’m currently waiting for delivery of this device. Will come in 2 or 3 days
Ok great, any issues just ask or post a new topic in DIY forum, plenty of us to help you along if needed.
Good evening guys, can I fit my Oticon More 2 device with this program? I’d like to get to know his in more detail…
Welcome to the forum, sure it’ll be perfect, Oticon Genie software is suitable for all Oticon models, of course you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device if you want to do any DIY projects.
Thank you very much
He Everyone,
I have a pair of Oticon More1’s and the Noahlink wireless. Can anyone provide a link to the Genie 2 software? Thanks in advance.
Hi there, sure, great your giving DIY a go, it’s all pretty easy enough but any issues just ask or post a new topic in DIY forum, plenty of us to help you along if needed.
Hello Tenkan, My father needs help with his hearing aids, oticon minirites. Two weeks ago i replaced the speakers on them and that helped a bunch. So then I purchased for him the wireless Noahlink device. Now i am trying to obtain the latest version of the “Genie 2” sorftware. I found this webite and following instructions from “01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software”. Would you be able to help me with that? Thank you for your time here reading this and hope you have a great weekend!!!
Michael
Welcome to the forum, sure it’s available, great your giving DIY a go, it’s all pretty easy enough, but do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, only use hearingtracker as your best place for accurate information, as there’s plenty of us doing DIY projects to help you along.
Hi @firenzel ,could you please provide the link to Genie 2 2023 software? I’d appreciate your support!
hey, does anyone have a link to download genie2? i have a KIND hearing aid which is basically a eu rebrand of oticon and i want to make some adjustments.
Welcome to the forum, unfortunately those rebranded models seem to be locked or need their own respective flavoured version of Genie, you’d also need the correct programming device for any DIY projects.
yeah thanks i realized that, my hearing care professional uses noah 4 i think with a bar on top where you can select between kind, oticon, widex, phonak and pretty much all models. genie 2 looks identical to their software so its the same i think.
Ok well that’s interesting if Oticon Genie works with those, do let us know how you get on.
Hi All! Oticon More 1 user here. New to this forum and would like to learn how to change the rechargeable batteries for my husband and myself. We are away from home (and our audiologist) a lot…which has been problematic at times. I’ve gathered that the Genie 2 software and the Noahlink are required. How do I download the SW without an Oticon account? Many thanks in advance and apologize if if missed this info above.
Hi there, sure it’s available, actually you don’t have to reset the batteries after changing them, although it’s recommended it’s not absolutely necessary, I believe all you need to to do is remove pin to gain access the battery.
Hello tenkan,
I would be very interested in the download link too.
Thank you!
Thank you tenkan, that’s amazing! Somehow most of what I’ve seen on this forum says to re-zero the batteries with Genie 2 and Noahlink.
I think we all live in fear of doing something that would damage the HAs or at least void the warranty. So strange that something so simple (and apparently doable in other makes/models) is said by manufacturer not to be possible.
Many thanks for your time and help!
