Hi there! Not sure if anyone can help me with this.
This is kind of a very long story, but I’ve been having some issues with my widex HA, and the widex store nearest to me let me borrow some “demo HA” while they send mine to widex lab to check for issues.
However, somehow the programming isn’t the same I’m used to, I tried to fix it at home because the audiologist there isn’t able to see me anytime soon, but when I try to connect them, I’m required to input a 4 digit passcode to access them. Is there any chance that this is an universal passcode that’s anyone here knows, instead of a random code they set in this shop?
Yeah it does sound like the clinic has added this, ask them to remove it because you didn’t authorised them to do so, these are your HAs and you have the right to do as you please with them, I can’t understand why compass software allows for this in this day and age, unethical I say.
In this case, like I said, these are not my HA, but a demo pair they borrowed to be while mine are being sent to repair. In this case, i think the code is very justifiable, i just wanted to know if there was a way around this
Oh yeah of course, sorry didn’t read through properly, ok so demo’s, right in that case you shouldn’t be attempting this! as you’ve pointed out they’re locked down for a reason, but yeah it’s a bummer that there not set up quite how you like them, looks like you’ll just have to wait until you can get back into the clinic
Hello to all,
can anyone help me, I’m looking for the Widex Compass software to download (I can’t install the software from the manufacturer’s site “CompassGPSRemoteCare.exe - with only 1,442 KB size” … but I’m not (yet) familiar with it either.
I have Moment Sheer 440 as demo and Noahlink Wireless2 there.
Thanks in advance

I was fitted with widex smartRIC 440 a couple weeks ago. I’m a musician and producer and, though I’m sure my audi set them to my prescription, they sound way off from natural sound. I’m hoping i can fine tune them myself to sound better for me. I bought a Noahlink 2 but now i need the latest compass gps software. Anyone know where this can be downloaded? Thanks for your help!
