Which file to archive? (Phonak - to save the current program)

Using Phonak Target
what’s the best way to save the file(s) needed for the hearing aid set-up/program?
is there a file or is there an archive button/procedure?

I have it installed on my daughter’s computer so I want to back it up to my google drive.

Export/import feature, your talking about the original audiology settings you want to save right.

yes. I thought it would be smart to save my audiologist’s set-up entirely as it is before I go monkeying around with it. (just in case I end up doing something stupid such as resetting the aids to the factory default with no program at all, for example)
I’d like to be able to just un-do anything and just go back to how she set them up…and I want to save a copy of those files somewhere other than my daughter’s computer.

Actually you didn’t read the guide I sent, yeah so as I mentioned you just make up 2 clients to begin with, one to save your original audiology settings to, and the other client for your DIY projects, easy as, cheers

oh yeah! I looked through some guide literature on phonak’s site a few weeks ago prior to getting that stuff from you. I didn’t find it very helpful then. I figured the thing you sent was probably the same thing, but intended to go back later and read the thing you sent. Got busy and forgot!

OK, by “two clients” I take that to mean that since the software is setup for an audio working in a clinic, the client is “the patient”. So client 1 is Bill…and that’ll grab the audiolgist’s settings
and then set up a second client named David and do my DIY stuff for David.

I’ll go back and look at the guide you sent as soon as I get a moment, and run the software again…might be latter in the week before I can get to it.
Thanks!!

Yes that’s the way, I think you’ll be fine, just have a play around in demo mode and get a feel for how things work in target before commencing, cheers

as tenkan noted, just make another client, I have like Jeffs original and Jeffs Play with clients. Also within a client session, I make notes for each save so I can go back to the previous settings
if I want to.
