Understanding Receiver types

Hi all,

I am new to hearing aids and use 2M receivers - but I don’t know about them and google is letting me done. Can someone explain the types or send a link?

Sorry if already addressed somewhere brand new learning site navigation etc

2 is for the wire length. There are 0,1,2 and 3 wire lengths. M is for Medium Power. There are also P (Power) and UP(Ultra Power) receivers. There is also a S receiver that is less powerful than the Medium.

Huh, interesting, thank you. I just noticed for the first time my receiver is market 3M. The other (fake) receiver is 3CROS.
