I’ve been using the Rayovac Proline size 312A purchased at my audiologist’s clinic. They come 4 to a card. Out of curiosity I checked out this size at CVS, but they were all size 312 with no “A” suffix. The brands were Rayovac, Duracell, and a house brand. I’ve tried several google searches to see what difference, if any, exists between the 312 and the 312A and was not able to find any information on that topic. Does anyone here know of any difference? There is no difference. My Audi told me they put those letters behind the numbers to try create customer loyalty. In reality all 312 batteries are the same.
…and buying them at Costco makes them real cheap. I pay $9 for 40.
