Is there a way to connect the sound of my Sony smart TV via Bluetooth to my Philips 9040 hearing aids using the Audio Clip?
I’m trialing the 9050’s and I have the Audio Clip, which so far have not used. I don’t see any reason why it’s not possible. I’m going to Costco Thursday so will ask.
You mean the ConnectClip right, yeah you could just place it just in front of the tv, but why not just use the Philips TV Adapter.
I didn’t want to buy the adapter device for my Jabras, bc I don’t watch much TV. But I successfully place the MultiMic (like the ConnectClip) next to the audio output. Works fine for me with the 1-2 hours per day that I watch.
I do this myself, the quality is not quite as good as the dedicated tv connection tho.
So you are picking up the sound from the TV speaker?
Yes. Or it can be hooked directly to the back of the tv using the double-ended 3.5mm multi cable (I think it’s called–comes w/ the mic). Better reception, but a bit more of a nuisance to do.
