I want to switch an Oticon Real1 miniBTE from Sound hook with mold earpiece to Corda miniFit. To me it looks like this should be perfectly possible, but I can’t find the short piece between HA and “Thin tube” (see image below, left hand) anywhere! I can find tubes, ear molds, even sound hooks (right hand style), but not that stubby replacement part.
Any clue what its name is and where I can purchase it?
Yeah not so common nowadays, but from here, make sure you get the right ones, I believe there’s 2 types.
Thanks @tenkan
The ones you linked don’t mention the Oticon Real, so I am a bit cautious as to whether they will work.
I also found this, which looks very similar and covers other Oticon models, but alas! not the Real.
Can it be that thin tubes is an unusual combination with Oticon miniBTEs?
Yeah so if I remember correctly there’s 2 different types, so just get in contact with connevans if your in the UK and confirm the correct adaptor for your model, as being unusual for Oticon, no I don’t think so, it’s more a case of RIC has taken over, slim tube BTE are no longer popular as they once were, you’d be hard pressed to find any clinic offering them let alone anyone asking for them now.
