Music for people with hearing loss

Hello all,

I am a student, currently studying at the University of Leeds, doing a design project on experiencing music for people with hearing loss. I would really like to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of the people within this community. If you have 5 minutes spare, it would really be appreciated if you could fill in a quick survey (mostly multiple choice, with bulk ethics approval from the university).

Thank you and have a nice day!

I took this survey. I’d be interested to hear what other people thought about it!

Unfortunately due to confidentiality I am unable to post the results on online forms, but thank you very much for participating, it is really appreciated!

Happy to comply, puzzled as to why, indicating I don’t listen to music in “social contexts”, I get a whole series on follow-up questions (with no “NA” option). Good I can report I hate the EU cap of 85 db on Bluetooth earbuds, serious obstacle to listen to music.
Good luck with your study, great place to post!

I took the survey. I thought it was quite well implemented. I was pleased to see a primarily qualitative approach. I was delighted to see someone addressing what for me is one of the biggest issues with my hearing loss. I think forum members would be interested in the results of this survey.

This a good point, all of those questions were optional but I have now added clarification to leave them blank if not applicable! Thank you for your input, it is really appreciated
