Is this normal? Battery wears down

I recently moved from Bernafon Zerena to Oticon Real and I notice the battery wear down looks interesting.

Left one is Bernafon Zerena. Right one is Oticon Real.

Bernafon battery. This is fully depleted after 4-5 days use.

Oticon battery. Also fully depleted after 5 days use.

Oticon Real barely scratch the battery surface! Bernafon Zerena looks like its try to grind and destroy battery. Is this normal?

I don’t have issue. Just battery looks different and it catch my eye.

Contacts scraping hard against battery as drawer is closed/opened?

Yep that’s what I was thinking, mine get a little bit when new
(nothing like that picture tho) they must make them out of stainless!

Maybe Bernafon does that deliberately to improve battery contact. Can’t think of any other reason for it. Are there any other Bernafon users out there who have seen this?

I just wonder this is normal because I thought its normal to get so many scratch on battery like pic above.

But when I get a new pair of Oticon Real. I just WOW. Battery looks so clean.

Make me wonder that my old Bernafon hearing aids just contact too aggressive or what.

My Bernafon is almost 5 years old. No issues! it work perfectly fine.

It just try to grind battery so hard. I thought its normal. But from what I read the comments. I guess its a bit aggressive lol

Yes, its from closing the battery door.

My Bernafon Zerenas will scratch like that too. My Philips look more like your Oticons.
