Is it possible to use an old iPhone as a connectclip

Is it possible somehow to transfer music, calls from Android to iPhone and oticon is connected to it, so that sounds go to the oticon hearing aid. Like an old iPhone like connectclip. Who knows, there are such similar programs?

I have never heard of that possibility. Seems unlikely to me.

@user846 What Oticon do you have and what iphone and android model you’ve got?
This would give some indications if it is feasible.

Can you not get a Connectclip on Ebay or other website for less money?

I have Android 10, Xiaomi mi9 lite, oticon xceed 3 UP bte. Old iPhone SE(2016). Connectclip is very expensive for me, and it is morally outdated, the hearing specialist said. the apparatus, they said yesterday.

I hope you find a way to solve the issue.
I am glad I didnt buy oticon xceed otherwise I would have to buy an iPhone

Edit: The statement below isn’t correct, my appologies:

  • It seems that your Xiaomi mi 9 lite (same as Xiami mi 9 SE) is compatible with your Xceed UP, using bluetooth LE; Not sure what you want to achieve.*

If it’s compatibility, I’ve tried everything. Xiaomi mi 9 lite. There is no channel transmission for listening to music, movies, calls.

Maybe worth checking on ebay or vk for a cheaper connectClip.

For that to work, the iphone would have to be able to function as an a2dp sink ie a device that you can send Bluetooth audio to. From the digging around I did a few years ago, it seems to be technically feasible but both Apple and Google chose not to allow it. I saw a few claims that people had hacked the Android BT stack to enable it. I never saw any similar claims for iphones.
