Unexpectedly, I received an email with the proposed date for receiving the new Nucleus 8 (I currently own the N6).
Now I am choosing between the brown and black colours for the housing.
Can anyone who uses an N8 insert a picture of the brown color in real life? I Googled it, but the advertisement materials mainly show the black one.
I wish I could help you.
One thing that might help is the K2 and N7 colors are well represented on the Cochlear website. The colors on the website are true to real life that I have witnessed.
I don’t know how this could be compared to your N6??

Indeed, you’re right, it’s more N7 photos with different colors, thanks!
The factor which make difficult to differentiate is glossiness of the “non-Kanso” type, so one may be somewhat confused I had Kanso 2 in my hand and it looks like more matte.
My N6 from 2013 is beige, but I think it’s a bit darker than the beige version of the N8 in photos. At that time, I did not have the possibility to choose the color.
This is my N8, it’s silver. Not the color you were wanting though. When I was taking photos my N8 looks more beige though. But outside in daylight it’s actually silvery /white.

@Deaf_piper, thanks for sharing! Based on your photo, I would say it is white
However, on advertisement:
EDIT:
Larger (upscaled) versions:
Here is a comparison between a beige N7 ( the N8 one is the same shade I think), White N6 and White N8.

The Silver one is off white when compared to a white one.

Thanks, I recognize the N6 (I have the beige one; it’s the same color as the one in your N7). I see that the shadow makes the white N8 look a bit silver.
I will have a meeting in obtaining N8 on October 19.
Great to see a lower profile for the N8 housing and coil compared to the N6.

The beige N8 is a lot lighter than the beige N6. All the best for your N8.
