My wife and daughter noted my “huh” responses, and asked me to get my hearing checked. Took months to get a referral to ENT office, but that confirmed I’d lost some high frequencies (normal low end). My comprehension is still good, but had slipped slightly in my worse ear, and I wanted aids. I tried Lexie B2+ otc for a month, and found they were helpful but made noisy restaurants worse, plus hated the distortion of beeps (and music with bells). Read this and other forums and made a choice to go to COSTCO. Did in-store trial of Rexton Reach and Philips 9050, and chose Rexton.
