Interesting thread. Im going thru the motions hoping to get an mri soon. My recent test showed my bad ear worse over a 2 year period. My dad also had unequal loss as did his mother. So hoping mine is hereditary over tumor related.
Unfortunately, the MRI did not show the cause of the hearing loss for me. The ENT doctor said she was just ruling out tumor. Nor, was it helpful to me in restoring the hearing that I lost.
