No one really ever addressed the distortion.
First ENT said too late nothing can be done. Did not say anything else.
Present one just smiles when I mention it.
Audiologist have no clue what I’m talking about.

Actually no, it’s designed to work with unstreamed music too. Like you say minimal processing (and delays) at the final stage comparator. Always worth getting it tuned separately to your preference.
