Thanks. They are extremely supportive of each other. I envy that.
And the reality is that the hearing test itself is not always a perfect measure. My word recognition scores on the exam are terrific, and in reality are far worse. I have some suspicions as to why, but it’s irrelevant that I score better than I perform, I have to adjust myself to what’s going on with me.
Hearing loss has such a huge stigma and it’s a shame. Hopefully she will reach out to you at some point. I would totally agree - one on one conversations would be get better.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, I would refer her to my audiologist and let it be.
I have trouble understanding my own hearing loss and how I may use my own hearing aids best.
I am searching for knowledge that will help me hear.
