I definitely can relate to your issue with English…it’s like despite knowing the words and everything but we still need the caption to comprehend what it’s being said.
For some reason back in 2018 I decided to pursue a Master’s in London - probably the most challenging experience I faced was working at a fast food where everybody was talking 2x and expected me to be native speaker (let alone consider I had a hearing impairment) lol
What’s has really always helped me a lot was knowing already the context of the conversation - which helps me narrow down the possible number of speech outcomes. Sometimes I get too ahead and try to predict what is going to be said when actually my interlocuter makes an U turn towards a completely new subject and I am left speechless.
I am personally assisting myself with a RogerOn iN - which I mostly used nowadays for lectures or small team meetings. It is really helpful tbh but biggest pity is that they do not work in tandem with the sphere mode of the Infinio I guess that would be really better!
